Equity, Diversity & Inclusion

Fostering equity in academia.

The group recognizes the underrepresentation of women in STEM, both across the field and within the group. The original public site records women as representing 28% of the group, alongside a global figure below 25% at post-PhD level from UNESCO's 2022-2023 Gender Equality report.

Beyond social justice, we recognize the positive role of diversity in fostering original approaches to long-standing scientific problems. We are committed to an egalitarian research environment and to improving the inclusion of women in the group.
